On this one hour tour of Detroit, parents and kids alike will discover some of Downtown Detroit's urban wildlife! Detroit’s unique architecture is full of exotic animals. This urban safari engages tour goers by having them find lions, tigers, bears and more as we explore Downtown Detroit. The tour will leave from PuppetART after your puppet making workshop. Join us for a fun-filled family day in Detroit this summer! Make your reservations for PuppetART’s Thursday morning performances in July and August and receive amazing discounts at local Detroit gems. In order to enhance the Detroit experience for our patrons, PuppetART has joined with the Detroit Children’s Museum, Inside Detroit Tours and Hard Rock Café to complete a fun-filled and affordable day in the D!
Families can join us at PuppetART in the morning; head out on an Urban Safari tour and walk over to Hard Rock (including free parking validation) for lunch. Guests can also round out the afternoon with a trip to the Children’s Museum. If you can’t make the museum on Thursday, they have generously extended their offer until September 3, 2011. PuppetART patrons must show their PuppetART ticket vouchers to take advantage of the special discounts, but all are welcome to attend.
Thursday performances start at 10 a.m. and are open to the public. Tickets are $5 for children and $10 for adults. Patrons may also participate in the puppet-making workshops that follow each performance. Thursday performances include special group pricing for groups of 15 or more.
